Donna has curated many headline exhibitions, among them Hello, My Name is Paul Smith (2013) which became the most successful show in the Design Museum’s history, touring to twelve international museum venues. In her former roles as Head of Exhibitions and Head of Curatorial at the Design Museum, London she was responsible for delivering the exhibitions programme, curating high profile exhibitions, managing the Design Museum collection, leading an international touring programme and directing the curatorial team. She also contributed to strategic committees and to content and programming groups, working as part of the museum’s senior leadership team.

Donna studied History of Art and Architecture at BA and MA level and began her career at Barbican Art Gallery, initially as Exhibition Assistant and progressing to Exhibition Organiser. At the Barbican, she curated fine art and photography exhibitions including, Eric Gill: Sculpture (1992) and Impressionism in Britain (1993). She went on to work at The Sculpture Company and the BFI, before joining the Design Museum as Senior Curator.
